S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky Review (PC)

Thursday September 25, 2008
Box Art © Deep Silver, GSC Game WorldThe Zone is a bleak and barren wasteland left in the aftermath of a fictionalized catastrophe at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and is the setting for the first person action role playing game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky. Much like last year's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, players are immersed in a massive and beautifully detailed world littered with small outposts of humanity and warring factions.

s.t.a.l.k.e.r is a complete waste of $30. First it’s painfully slow action and BORING. I almost hit the esc key before I ever even got to play. Sitting through long drawn out conversations and “info on the Zone”. All of the info could have been a small paragraph on the box. On top of all that the graphics look like a poorly done game a decade old. I have a top end system with everything set on max it plays smooth as silk but there is nothing worth seeing. Worst game I’ve played in a long time. I guess after playing Crysis I may be spoiled. Uninstalled the game after 10 min and tossed it in the trash. Total waste of time and money.
