The Fallout series has been one of the most ground breaking series of video games for the PC that's ever been released. It has been critically acclaimed and a commercial success due in part to the open world game play, storylines, and excellent game mechanics just to name a few.
While it's been over two years since we've seen a full Fallout release (that's right Fallout New Vegas was released back in October 2010), recent rumors have been swirling that Bethesda Softworks will be making an imminent announcement about Fallout 4. Then back on Jan 8th a voice actor from Fallout 3 Tweeted "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!", followed up by a Tweet that says he received permission to release the statement. While that's not an official statement from Bethesda it's a positive for the possibility of Fallout 4 in 2013.

But then a week later they filled the paperwork for a television show so that would more than likely be the case. Plus it would make more sense to use 3-Dog in a TV show since the games aren’t usually in the same city twice.
True…..but last reports came out that Bethesda was in Boston doing a tour of the city…word is Boston is the Home of the Commonwealth where alot of the Old World Tech is still housed and protected. If you remember in FO3 the some people came from the Commonwealth in search of a renegade Android that had come to a self realization…long story short 3-Dog is probably still in DC but has a presence in Boston now that the enclave have been pushed out of DC or Scattered throughout that region.
Bethesda bought the rights to FO NV so that means they could even include Ceasar’s Legion as well.
Although we all have that one dream that fallout 4 will happen, with all the teases and downsizing events, we WILL NOT know for sure if there will be one until bethesda grabs life by the balls and says “Hey guys get your money ready.”
I agree with commonwealth thing, who says that he’ll stay in DC. And with the ‘good fight’ sort of over he doesnt really have a reason to stay in DC. He said be only did it to help people, maybe whatevers happening in the 4th FO will be important enough for him to leave.
I hope it is anounced soon and it comes out this year, i love the FO series. Side note- i hope that character creation is a little better bc thats the only thing thst ever really annoyed me with the game, i’m only 5 foot and woulfd love to play a small skinny girl.
Chow to all other FO fans !
What about in Fallout NV DLC,they mentioned that Elijah had study old world tech from a prestigious school in the NE, i presume MIT.
Boston would be cool but i don’t think 3 Dog will be involved in the new Fallout because Beshesda spaces their games so many years apart and don’t use the same locations. 3 Dog was cool but i just don’t see it happening.
The commonwealth referred to in fallout 3 is most likely one of the 13 from when America split up not in boston
I personally am 95% sure that fo4 will b announced at e3 2013
To Alex, I’d say not all the time. Look at the time in-between FO3 and NV. Only 4 years of canonical space. A lot could happen with those 4 years, but on the same token, the Lone Wanderer/ Three Dog are probably still alive.
Cant wait for fallout 4, i think it will come out this november with the skyrim engine!
I think we can all agree it would nice if they would make “Mr. New Vegas” an NPC in FO4.. so we could shoot him… many times.
Lol, I’ve always hated Wayne Newton.
