In the About.com Computer Action Games Featured Free Games section we will help you do just that. On top of our Free Games A-Z list, and instead of just listing the games alphabetically, this section will actually record my experience for each free game that is featured.
Each feature will be broken up into 4 main sections graded on a scale from 1 to 10, leading to an overall gaming satisfaction.
- Download: This will cover the ease at which you are able to download, and will include information such as download time(from Cable Modem), file size, number of clicks to get to download page, wait time for download server access, etc..
- Installation: Installation covers just that, ease of install, system requirements, and so on.
- Game-play/Story Line: Does the game have the story to keep players interested and wanting to play more, as well as easy you learn controls and overall game-play.
- Graphics & Sound: Rates the graphics relative to other free games (it doesn’t make sense to rate a game based on the Quake engine to the graphics of Splinter Cell).
- Overall Rating: This is basically my overall grade for the game. This will be determined by an average of download and installation, game-play, graphics, as well as some flexibility to adjust when seen fit to.
