Guide Review - Rise Of Nations

Rise of Nations sets a new standard for real time strategy games with a nice mix of turn based and real time game play. The game begins by you picking one of 18 nations and then advancing your armies in an offensive or defensive position on a real world map during the turn based phase.

If, as a result of the turn based phase of the game, there are any conflicts to resolve between nations, the game moves into real time mode. In the real time phase of the game players will build workers, buildings and armies in order to defend or attack the rival nation.

The excellent graphics along with the huge variety and details of units, Rise of Nations will not disappoint RTS game fans looking for something new and exciting.
