Battlefield: 1942 summary:  Battlefield 1942 is a first person World War 2 action shooter where you can take the role of one of five different classes of soldiers from each of the five major powers that fought during the greatest conflict of the 20th century.  There is a  brief and limited single player storyline but where Battlefield 1942 excels is in it's multiplayer capability.
