Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords is set in the year 2225. Humans, in order to defend themselves, have formed a colaition against the evil Drengin Empire. They have formed an alliance of their own to search the galaxay for ancient technologies that can help them erridacte humans from the galaxy. Little do both sides know there are darker, more evil things in the far reaches of the universe.
