From Guide - Battlefield 2 is the highly anticipated follow up game from the developers that brought us Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam. Battlefield 2 takes the multiplayer battles found in those predessiors into the modern era with technologically advanced weapons and vehicles used in the real world.
Battlefield 2 allows players to choose from one of three militaries, The United States, the Chinese, or the Middle East Coalition. The game includes the world most advanced weapons and over 30 drivable vehicles to engage in battles of more than 64 players online. Players also have the ability to have their character rise in rank in hopes to, gain medals, unlock new weapons, or attain the higher rank(all the way up to General). There is also a greater variety of player classes including: Assault, Sniper, Special Ops, Combat Engineer, Medic, Heavy Weapons, and Anti-Tank.
Battlefield 2 also features a new game engine that allows for more interaction with the battlefields and the ability to fire through barriers based on their composition, forcing players to think twice about where to seek cover. The game also includes fully destructable environments in which some are set in real world city streets.
With over 30 vehicles the game automatically adjusts the vehicle to player ratio depending on the amount of pleyers in the game. The team play that made BF 1942 a hit has also been enahnced to allow players to enter combat on the front lines as part of a squad or to take up a commander role where you can take up the role of a battlefield commander.

Battlefield 2 Game Trailer
