Close Combat: First to Fight

Game Page

By , About.com Guide

Description:
From Guide - Close Combat: First to Fight is the latest in the new wave of tactical shooters that allow you to play the leader of a small unit or squad of soldiers as you battle in all different settings. Close Combat First to Fight, like many tactical shooters of it's kind relies heavily on artificial intelligence of both the enemies and squad mates. Set in the urban sprawl of Beirut, Lebanon First to Fight was developed with the help of members of the United States Marine Corps and it utilizes real life Marine urban military doctrine, Ready, Team, Fire, Assist. Apart from the location, however, the game has nothing to do with the 1983 U.S. Marine mission, as some might think.

As team leader you carry a M16-A4 rifle with an M203 Grenade launcher. Your team consists of the following: Rifleman - carries M16-A4 rifle, SAW Gunner - carries M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, Assistant Gunner - carries M16-A4 rifle and extra ammo for SAW. Along with your team of four men you will also have the ability to call in and/or use M1A1 Abrams tanks, AAV or assault amphibious vehicle, 81mm mortar teams, Marine Corp sniper teams, AH-1/Qz SeaCobra gunship helicopters and more.
