Gaming on the PC has been around as long as the PC itself. The demise of the PC as a viable gaming platform has been talked about many times over the past few years since the huge growth in popularity of console gaming systems. Confronted with so many options and all of the press surrounding the latest generation of video game consoles that are less expensive and have more games, it's easy to see how the PC can get lost in the shuffle. However if Microsoft has anything to say about it, the PC as a gaming platform is here to stay and 2007 is shaping up to be a banner year.
