Description:
From Guide - Knights of Honor is a empire building real time strategy game where your goal is to complete the conquest of Medieval Europe by any means necessary. Knights of Honor allows you to command one of more than 100 different countries from three time frames of European history and rewrite history.
The conquest portion of the game revolves around the capital cities of the many provinces across Europe. The cities must be captured in order to gain ownership of the province. Conquest of an entire contintent can take hundreds of years and players must ensure there the ruling family lives on as well as make economic and diplomatic decisions in managing your kingdom.
Players have a choice to begin Knights of Honor in one of three distinct Medieval time frames or ages, Early, High and Late (1000AD, 1200AD, and 1350AD respectively) with each kingdom/country having unique challenges and benefits. Players must also keep in mind that as they are trying to conquer Europe, other nations are also vying for control through warfare and diplomatic means.
Knights of Honor includes more than 50 different military units and siege weapons including six different types of knights, each with special abilities and upgrades that benefit you in battle and managing your provinces and kingdom. On top of these knights and military units are more than 60 buildings and upgrades that can be utilized to increase defense capabilities of cities and provinces.
Almost every action you take has not only military and economic but also diplomatic consequences, so waging war with every other nation is not always the best solution.
