Basic Plot/Storyline
Left 4 Dead 2 is the follow up to the survival horror co-op game Left 4 Dead in which players take on the role of a survivor who must shoot themselves out of zombie and mutant infested environments and make it to a safe zone/extraction point. Left 4 Dead 2 follows a group of four survivors, different from those in the first game, through five campaigns that stretch from Savannah, GA to New Orleans, LA.
The game play in Left 4 Dead 2 is a first person shooter and is primarily a multiplayer co-op game that pits two four player teams against each other, with one team controlling the survivors and the other team controlling the special infected mutants. When all suvivors make it to extraction point, or are killed, the teams switch sides and play the same map again. In addition to new characters Left 4 Dead 2 will also include new special infected and new weapons. The Survivors
