Set in the year 2038, the city of London has been burned and left in chaos by an invasion of hordes of demons from the depths of Hell. Mankind has been forced to survive underground. The hopd of survival of the human race has fallen on the shoulders of the Templar, followers of the same acient order of knights who forsaw this demon invasion.
Hellgate London combines elements of first person action games and role playing games, allowing characters to create and customize characters from one of six classes. The game offers randomly created levels, items and events that enables replayability that can provide a different outcome each time. Players gain levels through experience and can choose skills and spells from a highly customizable system. This skill system allows players to create completely unique characters.
