Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
Genre: Action Role Playing Game

To many Fallout 3 represents the third game in the Fallout series rather than the fifth. This is most likely due to the fact that Fallout 3 picks up the story from Fallout 2. Set just 36 years after the events of Fallout 2, players take on the role of a survivor from Vault 101. After the unfortunate disappearance of the protagonist's father, he sets out from the Vault in hopes of finding him. The Fallout 3 setting takes place in Capital City, which is the ruins of Washington DC. The game features a lot of new features such as V.A.T.S, Companions, Detailed ability/attribute trees and much more. The game also does an excellent job of staying true to the story rich game play that was found in the first two Fallout games.

There were five different DLC packs released for Fallout 3, which makes the total amount of game play available rather staggering. The DLC Packs include "Operation: Anchorage", "The Pitt", "Broken Steel", "Point Lookout", and "Mothership Zeta".
