From Guide - Age of Sail is a strategy game set on the high seas during the late 1700s, early 1800s. In it you take command of a tall ships as you try to rise in rank from Ensign to Admiral of the Navy. It includes over 100 scenarios, a scenario editor and over 2,000 historical tall ships to battle with.
Originally developed and released by Talon Soft for Windows 3.1/95, by today's standards it's graphics are dated but, the game play is still very good. Copies are difficult to come by these days, but eBay is usually a good source in finding older games. The sequel Age of Sail 2 is still readily available online.
