Here is a list of some of the most anticipated computer games for 2004. Release dates have a great tendenacy to move so the list isn't concrete. Some may be pushed back but for at least for the early part of the year, here are some hot titles you can look forward to in the coming months.
1. Half-Life 2
The most anticipated game of 2003 is the most anticipated game of 2004, delays and a code theft pushed the release date from late 2003 into first quarter of this year. Crowbar wielding Gordon will be back on desktops soon.
2. Doom 3
The classic Doom series picks up this year with Doom 3, id Software does not give release dates Amazon.com is saying June 1st. In the meantime you can view a few screenshots and trailer from the game.3. World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer game set in just that, the World of Warcraft. Play with thousands, Create and customize your own hero from the unique races and classes of the Warcraft universe.4. Battlefield Vietnam
Battlefield Vietnam should offer the same great gameplay of Battlefield 1942 but with added weaponry, vehicles, updated graphics, and more. Will also offers a great soundtrack with authentic 1960s rock and roll.5. Medal of Honor Pacific Assault
Medal of Honor Pacific Assaults takes the MOH franchise into a new battlefield. The Pacific Theater of campaign always seems to be forgotten when it comes to video games(with the exception of Deadly Dozen, Pac Theater) Hopefully this will provide the same great game play the MOHAA did.6. Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
This new title in the Splinter Cell series moves our hero Sam Fisher from the comfines of street alleys and dark warehouses into the outdoors. New gadgets and enemies abound.7. Unreal 2004
