Summary:
Battlefield Heroes is the latest game from the developers who brought us the rest of the popular Battlefield series of games such as Battlefield 1942 and Battlfield 2. Battlefield Heroes will be completely free to download and play. It is sort of an experiment by Electronic Arts as revenue from the game will be generated by in game advertising and micropayments. These micropayments will allow players to customize their character's appearnce but will not provide any game play advantage over someone choosing not to purchase micropayments.The game itself is a cartoon style shooter that will have similiar game play elements found in other Battlefield games. It contains a conquest mode that consists of count down tickets and flags. It also includes classes similiar to those found in other Battlefield games; these include a Commando, Soldier and Gunner. Battlefield Heroes will also contain a wide array of items, weapons and vehicles.
